Regal Echoes & Royal Lakes
Discover heritage, culture and landscapes across India
Speak to a Journey DesignerAbout Rajasthan
Rajasthan unfolds like a living tapestry of rose-pink fortresses, golden desert dunes, and palaces that seem to float above shimmering lakes. This is India at its most regal—where every sunset paints ancient ramparts in honey light, where folk musicians still sing ballads of kings and queens, and where the past isn't preserved behind glass but alive in bustling bazaars, hand-block textile workshops, and grand havelis turned heritage hotels. From the honeycomb façade of Jaipur's Hawa Mahal to the marble miracles of Mount Abu, from tiger safaris in Ranthambore to moonlit dinners on palace terraces, Rajasthan offers not just a destination, but an experience of timeless grandeur.

Heritage Highlights
Discover the monumental sights and cultural treasures that define the soul of this region.
Pushkar
Dating back to the 14th century, the Brahma Mandir in Pushkar is one of the rare temples in the world dedicated to Brahma, the creator deity. Built from stone and marble, it's instantly recognizable by its bright red spire and the carved hamsa (goose) perched at the entrance. The temple sits on the edge of sacred Pushkar Lake, where 52 stone-stepped ghats descend into tranquil waters surrounded by whitewashed temples and fluttering prayer flags. The old town hums with the scent of incense, marigold garlands, and street-side chai, offering a serene contrast to the vast Thar Desert that stretches beyond. Sunrise here—calm, golden, quietly majestic—is unforgettable.

Mount Abu
Nestled in the cool, forested hills of Mount Abu, the Dilwara Temples are among the most exquisite marble structures in the world. Built between the 11th and 13th centuries, the complex comprises five uniquely designed temples dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras. From the outside, they appear modest—but step inside and you're surrounded by breathtaking craftsmanship: marble ceilings carved like lace, pillars sculpted into blooming lotuses, arches that seem impossibly delicate. The quiet halls, cool stone floors, and intricate details invite slow exploration and quiet awe. It's a masterpiece of medieval Indian artistry, set in one of Rajasthan's few hill stations, where the air is crisp and the views sweeping.

Jaipur
Rising five storeys above the busy lanes of Jaipur's old city, the Hawa Mahal—the 'Palace of Winds'—is Rajasthan's most iconic façade. Built in 1799 from rose-pink sandstone, its honeycomb frontage is pierced by 953 small latticed windows, originally designed so royal women could observe street festivals while remaining unseen. The jharokhas also channel cool breezes through the palace, offering natural relief from the desert heat. Inside, gently sloping ramps connect narrow chambers, and upper terraces open to sweeping views of the City Palace and Jantar Mantar observatory. Best seen at sunrise, when the sandstone glows soft amber, the Hawa Mahal remains the enduring emblem of Jaipur's architectural elegance and royal heritage.
